Learn about the health benefits available through cultured beverages such as kombucha, water kefir and whey-based drinks. Creating these drinks at home is simple and open to a wide variety of flavours – choose a kombucha or water kefir culture to take home and try for yourself!
In this workshop you will make 1L of whey-based ginger ale to take home and enjoy. If you plan to take home a water kefir culture as well, you may want to pick up some raw sugar ahead of time (this is the type I like). If you plan to take home a kombucha culture, bring a large (1.5L or more) glass jar with you for your culture to go home in.
